Fivefold growth without a rewrite
A live game platform needed to go from roughly 20K to 100K+ concurrent players per game while launching new titles faster. I defined event-driven service boundaries, low-latency WebSocket flows and consistency rules, and standardized reusable platform capabilities.
Outcome: 100K+ concurrent players per game; time-to-market for new products from about two months to two weeks.

Wallet flows that survive retries
Multiple wallets, demo balances, points and external providers, all changing state concurrently. I designed the transaction identities, idempotency boundaries and explicit state transitions so that a timeout never meant a lost or doubled balance.
Outcome: resilient payment and wallet flows across multi-wallet, demo mode, points and provider integrations.

Forty engineers, shipping like four
As Department Director I own architecture standards and delivery practice for a forty-person department and coordinate a hundred-plus people across product, platform and vendor teams. CI/CD, observability and zero-downtime releases became the default rather than the exception.
Outcome: delivery throughput up 87% with zero-downtime deployments.

25,000 investment accounts a day
A crawling and data-processing platform built in Elixir on PostgreSQL and AWS, with monitoring and recovery designed in from the start so that partial failures were visible and repairable.
Outcome: stable daily processing for 25,000+ accounts with clear operational visibility.
